The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is returning to Australia to capture the hearts of many more Australian families this Christmas following a successful 2016.
This year the return of The Elf on the Shelf brings three new enchanting traditions – Letters to Santa, Elf Pets: A Saint Bernard Tradition and Scout Elves at Play.
Letters to Santa is a magical 22-piece set that uses Santa’s Special Paper™ to transform letters into miniature ornaments. As explained in the included storybook, children can write a letter or their Christmas wishlist for Santa on the special paper which when placed in the oven, with the help of an adult, shrinks down to elf-size for quick carry to the North Pole. After Santa reads the letters, Scout Elves return them to homes as keepsake ornaments to hang on the family Christmas tree for years to come.
Joining last year’s Elf Pets: A Reindeer Tradition, Elf Pets: A Saint Bernard Tradition brings even more Christmas Spirit to your home. This heart warming tale encourages children to engage in acts of kindness with their Elf Pets Saint Bernard to generate even more Christmas cheer to help Santa. Each Saint Bernard pup wears a barrel with a magical heart charm to gather the cheer until it’s released on Christmas Eve to help keep the North Pole magical.
Scout Elves at Play is a helpful kit of tips, tricks and elf-sized tools to inspire Scout Elves to create quick, fun, and creative scenes in your home. Let the Scout Elf Training Team be your guide through this 60-page idea book to show how the 15 included accessories can create over 100 magical moments!
Christmas 2017 also heralds the release of another entirely new range of adorable elf apparel with the Claus Couture Collection clothing fashions. This year’s line features a Scout Elf Superhero, Jingle Jam Hoodie sweatshirt, Twirling in the Snow Skirts, Sweet Shop Baking Set & Apron, and Snowflake Skirt & Scarf.
The magical story that explains how Santa’s scout elves help him manage his naughty or nice list – each beautifully illustrated children’s hardback book comes as a part of a keepsake boxed set including one of Santa’s scout elves, whose job is to watch during the day and report to Santa every night.
When a family adopts a scout elf and gives it a name, the scout elf receives its Christmas magic and can fly to the North Pole each night to tell Santa Claus about all of the day’s adventures. Each morning the scout elf returns to its family ending up in a different place to watch the festive fun, creating a unique family moment. Children love to race around the house and see where their scout elf has landed.
The Elf on the Shelf traditions will be available again nationwide with official retail “Adoption Centres” opening across Australia including Myer department stores, Dymocks booksellers, and independent specialty store locations.
