Princess Beatrice has officially cancelled the Royal Wedding amidst fears from Coronavirus COVID-19.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice were due to marry in a ceremony on May 29th however a spokesperson has told People.com that the ceremony would be conducted at a later time.
The change to wedding plans has come as the UK announced a further extension of its lockdown on Thursday following the COVID-19 death toll across the UK rising to 13,729 cases.
The lockdown restrictions were extended until at least May 7, and the continued global pandemic has prompted Beatrice and Edoardo to call off the formal celebrations for the time being.
