Is it on your ‘bucket list’?
Visiting India for the first time, I had no idea how my life would change. It was never the ashrams or gurus that attracted me, India was simply a fabulously exciting and amazing place to travel. Lush tropical waterways, snow-capped Himalayan peaks, deserts filled with camels and elephants, fortresses and palaces and of course, the home of that most incredible of the Wonders of the World, high up on my ‘bucket list’ , the Taj Mahal. No photo can ever do the ‘Taj’ justice. You simply HAVE to see it with your own eyes!
These days, every time I touch down in India, I feel like I’ve come home. I’ve made so many friends over the years, discovered an addiction for Indian food and, developed a passion for photography. With over 18 years experience, let me show you the best time of day to see the sunlight change the colour of the Taj Mahal. I’ll tell you where to shop for tribal artefacts in the bazaars, and where to find the best Ayurvedic massage. Spend a night in a Maharajah’s palace and learn the secrets of cooking an authentic Indian curry. Come visit India with us and watch the sun rise over the Holy Ganges, take a dawn yoga class on the rooftop of a Heritage Castle, ride into the sunset on a camel and sleep under the desert stars.
India can be a challenging country. However, travelling with a small group of like-minded ‘adventurers’ escorted by a fellow Aussie who knows the ropes and will smooth your ride, you will have the opportunity to create your ultimate Indian experience. Come visit the Taj Mahal, tick that one off your bucket list and discover what else India has to offer.
