With Christmas fast approaching and campsites filling up faster than ever, Queenslanders are being encouraged to book their sites now and take advantage of national parks, which are becoming increasingly accessible.

Camping and Glamping is an enjoyable and affordable way to enjoy Queensland’s natural beauty.

Queensland has a variety of national parks and State forests and accessibility is gradually improving so that more people can enjoy our parks over peak periods.

In Queensland, a quarter of annual camping trips take place over the summer holidays and the Christmas and New Year period is the busiest time, so planning is a must.
