“With this expansion, we are more than tripling the number of available retirement dwellings in the area, with all homes designed to standards like the Livable Housing Guidelines to enable positive ageing in place.
We are also offering an exceptional suite of new facilities and services to promote healthy, connected living for our growing resident community.”
Samford Grove resident Bev Dean said she was pleased to see the rapid progress of construction.
“I feel like it is fantastic – it’s going to be marvellous when everyone gets together,” she said.

The expanded community facilities, which will include a café, theatre, resident-run bar, library, gym, workshop and indoor swimming pool, will offer ample opportunities for social connection.
Samford Grove will also be closely linked to the wider community via a lush arbour running through the village and providing easy pedestrian access to Samford Village’s shops, services and cafés.
And, despite the area feeling like a hinterland retreat, major shopping centres and hospitals are within close driving distance and the nearby train station provides easy access to inner Brisbane.
