A 104 year old Italian grandmother has won a battle against the deadly Covid-19 virus according to local media.
Ada Zanusso, a resident of a nursing home west of Milan came down with the Covid-19 illness in early March but has now recovered.
Unfortunately 21 other residents of the nursing home have died as a result of the illness.
The Residenza Maria Grazia nursing home is in the north-western province of Biella, about 100 kilometres west of Milan.
“Someone up there forgot about me,” local news sources quoted Grandmother Zanusso as saying.

Her son said the grandmother still keeps in contact via video applications. He said, “she still reads without glasses, she’s curious, she always wants to know what we are doing.”
