A Place To Just Be: Gippsland

a place to just be

The Gippsland region stretches from Melbourne’s eastern outskirts all the way to the state border with New South Wales in Victoria’s far east. Renowned for the natural beauty of its lush rolling hills, mountain ranges, valleys and pristine beaches, it’s an ideal place to explore on the road. Hitch up the caravan, or jump in the driver’s seat of a motorhome to explore hundreds of kilometres of spectacular coastline, picturesque rivers and lakes, forests and snowfields.

While you’re on the road, stopping in at a caravan park along the way will not only give you a great home-away-from-home base, but you will also benefit from tons of local advice, and top tips from fellow travelers. You may even make a few new friends at happy hour!

Here are our top park picks for the region.
